CHARGERS STAR CHRIS CHAMBERS ANNOUNCES NEW PROMOTION TO BENEFIT C.A.T.C.H. 84

Wide Receiver Partners with MyCelebritees to Give Back to his Foundation

SAN DIEGO (Nov. XX, 2008)—The C.A.T.C.H. 84 Foundation, founded by San Diego Charger’s wide receiver Chris Chambers, today announced t a new promotion to help raise funds for the organization. Chambers teamed up with MyCelebritees, a one-of-a-kind company that partners with celebrities to support charities through the sales of unique apparel.

Chambers founded C.A.T.C.H. 84 in 2005 with the mission to help children look beyond their current circumstances by promoting self fulfillment through physical fitness and educational programs so they can improve upon their ability to overcome life’s challenges. Working with MyCelebritees, he defined an essential value or lesson that he credits for his success. MyCelebritees then encapsulated that inspiration in one word—“Vision—and used it to design tee shirts that are now available to Chambers’ fans via mycelebritees.com. Twenty to 25 percent of all sales of his “Vision” shirt will be donated to C.A.T.C.H. 84.

“This partnership is another great way to help raise money to help our Foundation continue and expand our efforts to support young people in San Diego,” said Danny Lewin, Executive Director of C.A.T.C.H. 84. “MyCelebritees has an interesting concept and we’re sure Chris’ fans will be interested in supporting this partnership once they learn of how it will benefit C.A.T.C.H. 84.”

MyCelebritees works with celebrities around the country. The company’s inaugural class includes San Diego Chargers Shaun Phillips, Vincent Jackson, Luis Castillo and Kassim Osgood; Luke Walton of the Los Angeles Lakers; Dean Lister and Brandon Vera, professional UFC Fighters; Todd Clever of USA Rugby; Kevin Robinson, two-time X-games gold medalist and professional BMX racer; Monique Henderson, two-time Olympic Gold Medalist for USA Track & Field, Terrell Owens of the Dallas Cowboys; Kellen Winslow II of the Cleveland Browns; and others. Each celebrity works with MyCelebritees to define the cause they would like to support and develop their “word,” which becomes the inspiration for all apparel created.

“I am passionate about continuing to support young people and help provide them with the tools they need to be successful, which is the reason I formed C.A.T.C.H. 84 back in 2005. I’m excited to help support our efforts through my partnership with MyCelebritees,” said Chambers.

C.A.T.C.H. 84 joins a host of other nonprofit organizations around the country that will benefit from the partnerships established by MyCelebritees. Those groups include Sports for Exceptional Athletes; Athletes for Education; the Terrell Owens Catch a Dream foundation; Locks of Love, a public, non-profit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children in the United States and Canada; and many more.

“We started this company so that celebrities like Chris could fulfill their passion to inspire, motivate and give back,” said Steve Horowitz, CEO of MyCelebritees. “We’re proud to be a part of a movement to make our communities better places to live for everyone. Please help these nonprofit organizations by supporting the celebrities that are passionate about helping these groups.”
